Peddler/Solicitor's Permit

Vendors who sell merchandise door-to-door are required to register and obtain an Application for Itinerant Sales Permit. Forms are available at City Hall during regular business hours at a weekly fee of $25.00 per person.

All persons participating in sales for a vendor must provide a copy of a driver's license or photo identification, and vehicle description/license plate number of all vehicles used and they must be approved by the Police Department.

Residents are advised to ask to see the salesperson's permit, and contact the Butler County Dispatch, 402-367-7400, immediately to report unregistered vendors.
