David City, the county seat of Butler County, is located int the east-central part of Nebraska. The city has over 2,500 residents and provides electricity, water and wastewater services. The city recently opened a new family aquatic center and has become one of the recreational destinations in eastern Nebraska. The city maintains public and private school systems, a public nine-hole golf course, numberous businesses and industries, a weekly newspaper, a weekly newsletter and a variety of social service programs and community organizations.
