Request for Proposals for Installation of Cable System for Downtown Lighting

The City of David City is requesting bids for a contractor to install a cable system near rooftops in the downtown area of David City. List of properties included in project available upon request. All hardware material must be stainless steel. Cable mounts/eyelets must be installed no more than 30 feet apart. Each installed cable mount/eyelet must be able to hold 100 lbs. Each installed cable must be rated at 500 lbs. minimum. City of David City must be listed as additional insured on contractor’s insurance. Project must be completed no later than Friday, August 7th, 2020. Pre-bid walkthrough of project scheduled for Friday, July 10th, 2020, 10:00 AM, starting at the City Offices. Submitted bids must be sealed and received by City of David City, 557 N 4th St, P.O. Box 191, David City, NE 68632 no later than 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15th, 2020. Bid openings will take place at that time. Late proposals will not be considered. The City of David City reserves the right to select the proposal considered most beneficial to the City. Questions?
