Butler County Health Care Center is a 25-bed critical access medical and surgical facility offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient services to the residents of Butler County and the surrounding area. For more information, call (402) 367-3115.
The Butler County Clinic, P.C., located at 336 South 9th Street, is staffed by five family practice physicians (Gerald W. Luckey, Mark V. Carlson, Victor J. Thoendel, Jo Anna Witter, and Lawrence Rudolph) and one physician assistant (James Witter PA-C) and served by 30 medical specialists. Quality, comprehensive, consistent, and cost-effective health care is provided to people of all ages. Services available include routine health care, well baby checks, minor surgical procedures, prenatal care, diagnostic services, and immunizations. St. Joseph's Villa, Inc., is a 58-bed, full service, skilled nursing facility providing the following services: restorative nursing, beauty shop, social services, special care unit, alzheimer's support group, nutritious dietary services, van for medical appointments and outings, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance, secure care system for wanderers, and special social events and activities.
David Place is an 86-bed skilled nursing facility with a philosophy of "Dignity in Life." The home offers skilled nursing care and rehabilitation facilities and features an Eden Alternative Philosophy. It is licensed by the state of Nebraska and certified by Medicaid and Medicare.
