David City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors meet the first Wednesday of every month.

Committees

Ambassadors — Shall act as the good-will arm of the Chamber providing new business recognition, serving as greeters at various community events, and plan social type activities for the membership.

Business Improvement — Shall organize the retail and industrial members of the Chamber as well as the City Council, Butler County Development Alliance, or other economic development organization to develop and implement a plan for development of the community.

Economic Impact — Shall work to promote a community economic plan including the Chamber and other entities that have a significant effect on the local economy, i.e. agriculture, education, health care, etc.

Event — Shall develop an annual calendar of events, setting dates, locations, and sponsors of annual events in the community that are sponsored by the Chamber.

Leadership — Shall create and promote leadership opportunities and training both within the Chamber itself as well as the community as a whole.

Marketing — Shall create a variety of methods for "promoting" Daivd City and the Chamber membership including maintaining up-to-date advertising, post cards, community brochures, web sites, etc.

Operating — Shall oversee the operation of the Chamber including finances
