Airport
The David City Municipal Airport has two runways - a 14 - 32 a 3,675' x 60' asphalt, lighted runway, and 1-19 a 2,100' x 60' turf runway. They have an apron with tiedowns; windsock; beacon on dusk to dawn. Runway lights are radio controlled 122.9. Other facilities include four tee-hangars, one shop hangar, an administration building, hard-surface taxiway, and parking area. Five private planes are hangared there; none are available for charter.

The City of David City recently executed agency agreements with the Department of Aeronautics for Project numbers 3-31-0025-08 and 3-31-0025-09 to be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration to obtain federal assistance for the development of the Airport. These funds would be for a snow removal equipment building and snow removal equipment.
